Membership Drive

The strength of NCITE is its members, and NCITE is asking for your help to keep the section strong for another 50 years. Now encouraging your friends and colleagues to become members of NCITE not only benefits them, but might also benefit you!

For each new NCITE member you recruit in 2013, you and the new member will each be entered into drawings for free registration to your choice of two NCITE section meetings or the NCITE annual meeting. There are two membership options available:

  • ITE International membership includes access to all the resources available from ITE, including the ITE Journal, the ITE Community forums, and discounts on ITE publications, meeting registrations, and professional development opportunities. NCITE membership is automatically part of membership in ITE International. The ITE membership application is available on the ITE International website.
  • NCITE Affiliate membership includes all the benefits available from NCITE, including regular technical committee meetings, quarterly newsletters, networking with colleagues, and section meetings. The NCITE membership application is available on the Membership area of the NCITE website.

Once registered, the new member can simply send an email with both your names to the  NCITE Membership Committee to be entered in the drawings. The prize drawing will be held at the NCITE October Section Meeting for all new 2013 new members. You need not be present to win.

Thank you for your continued membership and support of NCITE in 2013!

About

NCITE consists of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) members and affiliated persons residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.  NCITE is a section within the ITE's 4th District, MidwesternITE, which covers 11 Midwestern states.  NCITE was organized in 1963 and, like its parent organization, ITE, has its roots in the traffic engineering profession. Today, an engineering graduate need only be active in transportation or traffic engineering work to be eligible to join ITE. Only Members of ITE may be members of the Section; those individuals not eligible for ITE membership may join NCITE as Section Affiliates. As of January 1, 2012, NCITE’s membership total is 346 individuals, including members affiliated with the section’s three student chapters.
