OUTREACH SUBCOMMITTEE Chair:

PURPOSE The Outreach Committee works to educate elected officials, public agency staff, and consultants on the fundamentals of traffic engineering. Currently, the only function of the outreach committee is to organize a one day traffic engineering fundamentals workshop that is held annually during November or December. Revenues from this workshop fund the NCITE scholarship fund. The committee meets sporadically, with the bulk of the committee's work being done in the early fall.
