PURPOSE

The NCITE Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Committee is a forum for NCITE members to discuss issues related to overall safety on the local and lower volume roads. There will be an emphasis on pedestrian safety and neighborhood traffic issues. All members are welcome to attend the meetings. On this page is a preliminary schedule for the Committee meetings. Proposed topics will be posted next to each meeting date as soon as one has been determined (usually after the previous meeting). There is also a mail list for this committee which will allow all interested parties to be copies on all committee correspondence including announcements of meetings, release of meeting minutes and any follow-up research that is conducted. To be included on the mail list, please email or call the committee chair listed above.
